Before the show began, motosada came out and addressed the crowd, thanking them for sticking with NDP through its recent hardships and letting them know they had a hell of a show coming up. With that, moto left the ring as the opening for Outbreak began.
As the very first episode of NDP Outbreak begins, we fade into Viking Hall. Game Over's Cataclysmic Clash replaces Slipknot's Before I Forget after a moment, and Matt Shane, the new NDP Champion, walks down to the ring. He’s in casual attire, including his signature blue headband that nearly covers half his eyes, and the NDP Championship rests on his shoulder. Entering the ring and grabbing a mic from a stagehand, Cataclysmic Clashdies out as the crowd continues to cheer.
[Matt:] Well, I’ve certainly had a lot to think about these last few months. Not only did I win the NDP Championship the last time I was in a New Damage Prowrestling ring at SuperKickFest04, but I’ve been busy touring the country with my other fed, CEP.
Now, not too long ago, I was informed that I’d get to pick the first challenger that I would get to defend this NDP Championship against, and I’ve been thinking for a long time about this.
First, I thought, who better to defend this title against, than some one I’ve really duked it out with, some one that REALLY pushed me to my limit? But, heh, unfortunately, Nicole Dramesi’s not with NDP any more. Of course, there’s Flip, but really. I know that match was one for the ages, but he’s gonna need to prove to me he can win on his own, first, without help from outsiders, and stuff.
Of course, there’re also Gene Starr, Mr. E, Trent Kasta, and Victor Harris. And, I can’t leave out the members of the ARMADA, either. But I’ve gone head-to-head with Gene before, and I’m not so sure Mr. E, Trent, or Vic have proven to me that we could step into the ring and have one helluva match.
So, obviously, my next place to look is the light-heavyweight division. Ah, how the light-heavyweight action is often the most fast paced, intense division. Not only that, but I know I can keep up with light-heavyweights, just as well as I can with heavyweights. The first thought I had was “Wow… What about Champion vs. Champion; Matt Shane vs. Akira Blaze!”. But I can’t leave out the rest of the greats, including Kazen & Tani, Epson, Domino, The Frog, Phil Buster, Kaori NiGHT, Roselyn Pride, and Kristin Blade…
But, I had to come to a decision. I reached down deep, did some major thinking, and I’ve made my decision. The first person that I will be defending the NDP Championship against is--
Liberate Me by Shocknina cuts Matt Shane off, and out waltzes the Living Venus, Colleen, followed closely by her manager Zachary Valentine. Colleen strolls into the ring and Zachary walks around the ring to grab a mic, entering the ring and standing beside Colleen.
[Zachary:] And the first person that you will be defending the NDP Championship against is...
Zachary points to Colleen, who is smiling widely.
[Zachary:] The Living Venus, Colleen!
Matt looks at Zachary blankly.
[Matt:] And why would I do something like that?
Zachary looks insulted, and Colleen looks very upset.
[Zachary:] Why? Why? Because if it weren't for this woman, you wouldn't even have that NDP Championship!
Matt raises an eyebrow.
[Matt:] Er... What?
[Zachary:] Forgotten already? The Maelstrom before SuperKickFest04, Colleen delivered the most devastating finishing move in the history of this business - the Absolute Stunner - to Flip Staley, which debilitated him to the point where he wasn't even able to compete at 100% for your match at SuperKickFest04! It is thanks soley to The Living Venus, Colleen, that you are NDP Champion to begin with!
[Matt:] Hey. Listen. That's fine and dandy and all, but in the end, it was me that faced and beat Flip Staley at SuperKickFest04 for the NDP Championship, not you. And do you remember why?
[Zachary:] Wh--
[Matt:] Because, Colleen, you couldn't beat me in the first place! I beat you and got that match at SuperKickFest04! And now I'm the NDP Champion, and you're just a distraction!
The crowd pops, and Colleen looks seething mad with Zachary trying to hold her back from clawing Matt's eyes out.
[Matt:] And, as I was saying before I was interrupted.
Tonight!
For the first time ever!
I, Matt Shane, will defend the NDP Championship against... Phil Buster!!
The crowd cheers, and Colleen is almost foaming at the mouth in anger.
[Jr.:] BAH GAWD! PHIL BUSTER OF TEAM RYDER!! THAT'S A BLOCKBUSTER!!!
Colleen shoves Zachary aside and charges Matt Shane, but Matt sidesteps her and grabs her by the neck, tossing her out of the ring over the ropes! The crowd cheers as Colleen tumbles to the outside, and Matt turns his attention to Zachary Valentine. Zach drops the mic and tries to run, but Matt Shane grabs him and pulls him back into the center of the ring, up onto the NDP Champion's shoulders goes Zachary-- AcuPUNKture!!
[Visper:] WHAT THE HELL?! BOO!! BOOO!!!
[Jr.:] Why are you booing?
[Visper:] Because, the NDP Champion just attacked a poor, defenseless manager! He had no right to do that!
[Jr.:] Well, I'm sure he had it coming.
[Visper:] ... Oh, right. Forgot I was an announcer in professional wrestling; the land that common sense forgot.

After Matt Shane got done with his victory posing, newcomer Randy Isiac came to the ring, preparing for his NDP debut in - of all things - a Light-Heavyweight Championship match against the NEW Light-Heavyweight Champion, Akira Blaze.
<< Light-Heavyweight Championship Singles Match>>
"English Icon" Randy Isiac
vs.
Light-Heavyweight Champion Akira Blaze
Randy Isiac, the so-called "English Icon", was doing this weird thing in the begining of the match. I think some guy in the crowd called it "wrestling". Well, how 'bout that?
Anyway! The match started off with some quick chain wrestling and quick takedowns from Randy Isiac, who kept Akira Blaze on her toes quite handily. A quick slap to the face by Blaze caught Isiac off guard, but not so much off guard that he got his ass beat for the next ten minutes straight. Knuckle lock from the two competitors, Blaze forcing Isiac back into a bridge, Isiac's feet go out under him, Akira with a pin- kickout at one and Isiac rolls backward through his arms - which grossed out a couple kids in the front row - and caught Akira in an under knuckle lock, pulling her in and getting a slight variation to the double wrist lock takedown pin - "variation" as in a knuckle lock instead of a wrist lock - for less than a two count.
Isiac shoved Akira into the turnbuckle and begins laying in with some chops, Akira rushes out with a quick series of sumo chops, toe kick, snap suplex from the Light-Heavyweight Champion. Akira with an Irish whip, Isiac rolls to the side and lifts Akira on his shoulders-- Stomach Bustah~! Isiac grabs the arm of Blaze and starts shouting "break the arm!" which gets a few people to chant along as he locks in a Step-Over Armbar. Akira turns herself toward the ropes and eventually gets a foot on the ropes, and Isiac breaks right away. Irish whip from the Englishman, Blaze reverses, goes for a lariat, ducked, Isiac grabs the arm and hits a running shoulderbreaker. Guess he's trying to work on a specific body part, eh?
Isiac takes off the ropes, but Akira catches him with a kick to the face! Isiac pops back up to his feet, caught with a couple hard slaps and chops, ROLLING CHOP!! Covers; one-count. Isiac with an armbreaker, brings Akira's arm up going for a shoulder armbreaker, but Akira twists it back around and Isiac tries to go for some sort of crazy Lucha twisty submission, but gets rebuked by a headbutt from Blaze. Scoop slam from Blaze, judo takedown, reverse DDT in rapid succession. Blaze catches a kick, trips Isiac's other leg out from under him, elbow drop right... close to a pair of English jewels, but not close enough it seems, so the ref lets it pass. Akira with an Irish whip, hops up on the second rope and scores some crazy kinda headscissors whip thing, only crazy. Stalling suplex from Blaze, takes off the ropes, connects with a lariat. Akira might've tweaked that arm a bit, and is tryin' to get some feeling back there from the looks of it. Isiac back up, Akira goes for another lariat, but Isiac catches it and locks in the fujiwara armbar again, and Akira is slapping and kicking the mat, trying to escape, managing to roll out of the move after having it locked in for a long, long time, and that arm of Akira's does not look to be in good shape.
Isiac locks in a side headlock-- reversed into a nasty backdrop! Akira off the ropes, goes for the lariat again, Isiac catches it again and tries to reverse but Akira puts the breaks to that idea and clubs Randy in the back of his head 'till he let go of the arm. Which takes awhile. Obviously, Isiac is a bit thick in the head. Tiger DDT from Akira, off the ropes, flashing elbow drop~! Irish whip from Blaze, one-armed overhead belly-to-belly from Akira, and she locks in the R.Y.U Special! She can't get it locked in all that well, tho, and Isiac is able to slip out and catch Akira in a saxon clutch; one, two, th-- kickout!
Jumping DDT from Blaze! Shitdamn, that came outta nowhere! Akira goes for a brainbuster, but can't get Isiac up, but Isiac has no problems whatsoever hitting a brainbuster on Blaze. Blaze is gasping for breath, Isiac takes off the ropes, jumping knee to the arm of Akira Blaze, and Blaze is kicking and flailing all over the ring, holding that arm. Isiac goes in for the kill with a key lock, and Akira is screaming loud, but she's refusing to submit!! Randy Isiac is going crazy, trying to tear that arm of Akira Blaze to shreads, but Blaze WILL!
NOT!!
GIVE!
UP!!!
Akira gets her free arm to the ropes, and Isiac doesn't let go of the hold right away, obviously losing his composure. Akira's arm is limp, and looks to be about as useful as my little brother, and she rolls out of the ring trying to catch her breath and get some feeling back into her arm. After a 12-count, Akira reenters the ring and starts trying to wear down Randy Isiac yet again. Akira, now using her weaker - but not totally fucked up - arm to lay in with some elbow smashes. Isiac is dizzy, Akira off the ropes, big lariat from Blaze! Akira with the LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG throat cut, pulls Isiac up, goes for the Deadly Heeeeeet, but can't lift Isiac up! Isiac with a go-behind, goes for a backdrop of his own-- no! Akira rolled off and right into a rolling hold! One, two, three!!
Akira Blaze retains the Light-Heavyweight Championship by pinfall

[Visper:] Holy crap on a stick! Akira Blaze certainly earned that victory.
[Jr.:] Randy Isiac did his work extremely well, but he failed to underestimate the BURNING SPIRIT~~~~~!!!!! of the new NDP Light-Heavyweight Champion, Akira Blaze!
[Visper:] And what's more, we still have a New Damage Prowrestling Championship match coming up later tonight, as Matt Shane defends his newly-won NDP Championship for the first time, against his choice of opponents, and he chose Team Ryder's Phil Buster!
--Commercial break--
[Visper:] This next one, in the words of my "esteemed" colleauge, Lann Avery, Jr., "A BAH GAWD HOSSFEST!!!"
[Jr.:] Hey! That's my line!
[Visper:] I... I just said that.
[Jr.:] Where?
[Visper:] ... Let's just get on with the match. Nevermind the exposition leading up to the match, about Gene Starr and Victor Harris' submission match on the next Maelstrom, or the severely heated bloodfeud between Flip Staley and Mr. E over the actions of Aika Sugiyama - who's now an even bigger mental case than she was before, just quieter.
[Jr.:] Okay. Match it is!
[Visper:] Ugh.
<<Tag Team Match>>
Gene Starr
and
"Hitoshura" Flip Staley (w/ Aika Sugiyama)
vs.
Victor Harris
and
"The Phenom" Mr. E
Aika Sugiyama waits meekly outside the blue corner, keeping out of the gaze of Mr. E. Bell rings, and we start off with Gene and Victor. Victor with an elbow pat. Another. BIONIC ELBOW~~! Arm whip from Harris, Starr back to his feet, Harris closes in, and Gene shuts him off with an o-soto-gari. Elbow smash, elbow smash, EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Gene with the takedown, transitions to a front facelock, and starts burying his knee into the skull of Victor Harris. Gene backs off at the ref's four-count, and kicks Harris as he's down. Harris gets back up with Gene held back by the ref. Gene starts in with some hard lefts, pulls back for another one, psyches Harris out and Gene cheapshots Harris with a kick to the knee. Harris stumbles, Gene hits a kneecrusher. Another European uppercut from Starr spins Harris around, butterfly suplex from Starr. Gene with an elbow drop, another, teases the Outlaw Elbow, but instead drops a jumping knee on the forehead of Harris. Gene pulls Harris up, starts laying in with heavy lefts, mixed in with a right or two, Harris ducks a wild left, cyclone whip from Harris! And another! Knee drop from Harris, and another, teases the Outlaw Elbow as well, but hits a jumping knee drop onto the forehead of Starr!
Harris with an Irish whip, makes the tag to Mr. E, and the two big men nail Gene with twin back elbows! Starr's knocked woozy-- BIG DEMOLITION TO GENE STARR!!! Gene fights off another double team, ref forces Harris to the apron, Starr with the tag to Staley. Irish whip from both Starr and Staley, double lariat to Mr. E, but Mr. E doesn't go down! Starr and Staley look at each other, take to the ropes, double running lariat-- Mr. E stands tall again! Another shared look from Staley and Starr, and they head to opposite sides of the ring this time-- Harris pulled the top rope down, and Starr fell out to the floor!! Staley with the lariat on Mr. E, but he doesn't budge at all, again! YOU CAN'T LARIAT MR. E! Flip finds out, however, that he can be lariated, as Mr. E knocks him down hard with a big lariat before pumping the arm! Gene gets back to the blue corner after having the ref force him back before he could get into a scuffle with Harris outside the ring.
Flip isn't faring too well against Mr. E, as the big, masked man nails a few quick hammering blows, gutwrench suplex. Fireman's carry from Mr. E, follows up with a painful-looking headlock takedown. Double wrist clutch armsault from E, but it looks like he might've come down a bit hard on his own head there. Hip toss from Mr. E, but he does look a bit out of sorts there. Scoop slam from Mr. E, snapmare from Staley, and he follows up quickly with a dropkick to the head of Mr. E. Flip with a few quick punches, suckering Mr. E in and then hitting that devastating Hooked Cross. Headlock takedown from Staley. Irish whip, drop toe hold-- Mr. E's neck bounces down into the bottom rope! Mr. E has got to be gasping for air under that mask! Staley keeps the pressure on, another Irish whip, Flip off the ropes, lariat, BUT YOU CAN'T LARIAT MR-- Oh, wait. Nevermind. Guess you can. Flip off the ropes, sliding dropkick to the head of Mr. E. Flip pulls Mr. E up, Sheer Drop Back Drop from Staley! Flip with elbow drops to the back of Mr. E's head, pulls Mr. E up, goes for a DDT-- Mr. E trying to reverse it into a northern lights suplex, but a knee to the gut cuts him off and Flip plants him with that DDT like a tree on Arbor Day. Flip applies the Emerald City Sleeper, and Mr. E is trapped center of the ring. After trying to power out for almost a minute, Mr. E manages to slip his arm out from under Flip's leg, laying into Staley with the best rights he can manage. Staley loosens the Sleeper up a bit, giving Mr. E the opportunity to rise up and nails a big jawbreaker! Flip stumbles back, Mr. E gets back to his feet-- Flip tosses Mr. E out of the ring! Harris charges in, Flip cuts him off with a hook. Irish whip, Flip takes to the ropes, lariat-- ducked! Victor with a big belly-to-belly suplex! Ref forces Vic back to the apron, just in time for Mr. E to roll back in to the ring. RUSSIAN NECK DROP FROM MR. E!! CHRIST ALMIGHTY!!
Mr. E covers; one, two, th-- kickout! Mr. E makes the tag in to Harris. Harris pulls Staley up, locks in a full nelson - complete with chants from the crowd - Mr. E with a lariat as Harris pulls back and hits a Full Nelson Suplex! Big double-team there from Harris and Mr. E! Harris covers; one, two, thr--- Gene breaks up the pin! Gene knocks Mr. E out to the floor as he's coming thru the ropes to get back in the ring, and Gene then knocks Harris down to the mat. Gene stomps away on Harris, nails a high-rising knee breaker, and Mr. E clubs him from behind! Mr. E spins Gene around, OUTLAW'S EDGE FROM STARR!! That came from outta NOWHERE! Harris back to his feet, Starr and Staley with a double team spinebuster! The ref gains some DAMN CONTROL OF THE MATCH, and forces Mr. E and Starr back to the apron. Staley covers, yelling for the ref to make the count since he's too damn busy to do his JOB!!! One, two, th-- kickout! Staley with an Irish whip, reversed, Harris with a back body drop. Staley back up, uranage from Harris. Harris follows up with a front neck chancre, pulls Staley to his feet and applies the full nelson again, looking for the Suplex, but Staley hits a sick mule kick to the knee of Harris, and Vic falls like a ton of bricks as Staley tags in Starr.
Double-team powerbomb from Gene and Flip. Double-team brainbuster follow-up. Staley with a powerbomb of his own before the ref forces him to the apron, and Gene locks in the Nomad Stretch! Mr. E rushes the ring and breaks it up with a boot to Gene's face! Flip enters the ring, larait to Mr. E-- YOU CAN'T LARIAT MR. E! Seriously, this time. Harris and Gene are back to their feet as Mr. E and Flip trade rights, toe kick from both Mr. E and Harris, gutwrench suplexes in stereo! Mr. E is forced back to the apron, and behind the ref's back, Flip nails another Sheer Drop Back Drop onto Harris before heading off to the apron. Gene covers; one, two, thr-- kickout! Gene gets to his feet, shakin' the cobwebs loose, and pulls Harris up. Gene starts laying in with lefts, short whip, pulls Harris back in for a lariat, Harris ducks under, grabs the arm-- Cobra Clutch! Vic Harris with the Cobra Clutch, but Gene has the presence of mind to grab back and jump, trying to nail a jawbreaker on Harris, but it doesn't work out quite as well as he'd hoped as Harris slips his head out from Gene's graps and just slams Gene down to the mat! Victor covers; one, two, thre-- kickout!
Harris pulls Starr up, Irish whip into the corner, Harris charges in and nails a big lariat. Harris off the ropes again, running heel kick connects to Starr. Harris pulls Starr up into a standing headscissors-- WILD BOMB WHIP! HOLY MOTHER!!! Harris covers; one, two, thre-- KICKOUT!! Vic doesn't know how Gene kicked out of that, and I'd be surprised if Gene did, too! Harris pulls Gene to his feet, Gene shoves him away-- VAGABOND KICK CONNECTS! Gene covers; one, two, th-- Mr. E breaks the pin up! Flip Staley enters the ring and starts laying into Mr. E with heavy rights, Mr. E returns fire, blocks a right, and nails that heavy downward chop to the head of Flip Staley! Mr. E turns his attention back to Starr, and Mr. E shows that he's easily the only person in NDP that can hang with a former boxer and a former shoot-fighter in the same match, by going toe-to-toe with Starr as they trade rights and lefts. Gene connects with a toe kick, screwing up Mr. E's rhythm, follows up with a Russian leg sweep as Flip and Harris get back to their feet-- Flip with a kick to Harris, Sheer Drop Brainbuster!! Flip rolls out of the ring and Gene covers; one, two, three!
Gene Starr wins by pinfall

[Visper:] Oh, jeeze. Do you always have to make such a big deal out of things?
[Jr.:] That was an unfair ending to the match! Vic--
[Visper:] Yeah. Screwed. We get it. Maybe they didn't get screwed so much as they got beaten. Maybe you should scream that instead. Like this;
Visper clears her throat and starts talking in a bad impression of Lann.
[Visper:] BAH GAWD VICTOR HARRIS AND MR. E GOT BEATEN! THAT was TOTALLY not how they should've watched each other's BACKS MAH GAWD JESUS CHRIST!"
Visper coughs and drinks some water, and returns speaking normally.
[Visper:] And so-on and so-forth.
[Jr.:] But... but...

[Visper:] And what's more, we still have a New Damage Prowrestling Championship match coming up later tonight, as Matt Shane defends his newly-won NDP Championship for the first time, against his choice of opponents, and he chose Team Ryder's Phil Buster!

[Jr.:] But... but...
[Visper:] We know, we know. Whatever.
