Baxter's Television once again warmly welcomes you to the New Damage Prowrestling DamageCast.
DamageCast #11
Born Supremacy
Scene opens to the familiar DamageCast studio, with Miles Bell behind the desk.
[Miles:] Greetings, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to DamageCast issue number eleven. We’ve got a nice little show in store for you tonight, starting off with a bit of footage that we were, unfortunately, unable to fit into our Maelstrom broadcast. We also have a great match for you, and Jason Wesley will be stopping by the studio, promising us a “big surprise”. So, without further ado, we take you back to the last Maelstrom, as The Charcoal Lady comes to the ring.
-- From the Nameless Municipal Arena --
The Nameless Municipal Arena is filled with Guitar Vader’s J-Poppyness and the line “She’s a magical girl” over and over again as The Charcoal Lady walks toward the ring. She enters, resting her giant parasol in a corner and grabbing a mic from ringside. Magical Girl fades out and she stands in the middle of the ring.
[Charcoal Lady:] For quite some time, you’ve watched me and my companions, Princess Aika and the mysterious, caped, and shaded individual, Tuxedo Kazen, bumble around and just generally make a mess of things in our attempts to gain audience with the former NDP Light-Heavyweight Champion, Akira Blaze. Well, personally, I’m sick of sneaking around, I’m sick of ancient artifacts of the Flash Kingdom, I’m sick of beating around the bush. I vastly prefer the direct approach. So, Akira Blaze, would you please come down to the ring?
Instead of Akira Blaze coming to the ring, we see Princess Aika running to the ring, looking panicked. She slides into the ring and holds Charcoal Lady’s microphone down, trying to muffle their talking. Princess Aika seems to be saying that they shouldn’t be doing things like calling Akira Blaze out to talk, but The Charcoal Lady just shakes her head and tells Princess Aika to go sit in the corner. Princess Aika protests, but Charcoal Lady asserts herself, and Princess Aika begrudgingly complies.
[Charcoal Lady:] Please, Akira, would you come down to the ring? You have my word - my promise - that none of the Flash Senshi will attack you. Please?
After a moment, The Charcoal Lady gets an increasingly-pleading look on her face, The Redhead Kelly kicks up over the PA system and Akira Blaze enters the arena to a big crowd pop. The Charcoal Lady looks very relieved as Akira makes her way to the ring, picking a mic up from the top of the stairs as she enters the ring.
[Akira:] You know, I've got to say that I agree with you. I've gotten real tired of watching you guys mess around, too. It's getting to be pretty pathet-
[Charcoal Lady:] No, no. You don't quite understand. And that's our fault. We've been trying to talk to you for weeks, in a calm, civilized manner, but certain factors... [Charcoal Lady motions toward Princess Aika] ...we haven't even been able to tell you our intentions.
[Akira:] Well, you've got a captive audience. What are your intentions?
[Charcoal Lady:] To make sure that the NDP Light-Heavyweight Championship is no longer held by 50CENTAVOS. But the Flash Senshi just aren't strong enough to accomplish this goal. That's why we've come to you. You've been cheated out of the Light-Heavyweight Championship twice now because of him, and the fact that he still has the Championship is a blight on New Damage Prowrestling.
We all have the motivation, and we all share the same goal, you and us. The Flash Senshi's days of hounding the Light-Heavyweight Champion in the hopes of our own Championship glory are over; we have to do the right thing because it's the right thing to do. And the right thing, is to end 50CENTAVOS' reign as Light-Heavyweight Champion.
[Akira:] I've been going at this mostly alone for a long time. It has worked, and then it hasn't. When faced with an opponent like 50CENTAVOS, I see where it would be helpful to join forces... But how trustworthy are you?
[Charcoal Lady:] Enough to complete the mission I was sent here for.
Akira stares down Charcoal Lady, and The Charcoal Lady returns the focused glare. Akira suddenly raises her hand toward Charcoal Lady, who in response snaps into a defensive pose. Akira tilts her head at Charcoal Lady, who realizes what she's done, and stands up straight to shake the hand of Akira Blaze.
-bang!bang!bang!-
Many Men by 50 Cent hits the PA system, as the Light-Heavyweight Champion 50CENTAVOS and his bodyguard Toby Yoyo walk out to the arena.
[50CENTAVOS:] 'Ey, chicas! Whychu gotta be so down, meng? Tell you what, chicas, 'bout you t'ree get a room and let me tape that shit, yo? Put it up on the internet, make some money, yo.
The crowd laughs, but the women in the ring don't.
[50CENTAVOS:] 'Ey, just a suggestion, meng. Since you di'n't like that one, how 'bout dis one; I ain't got no one to fight for my Light-Heavyweight Championship, 'n I'd like ya freaks ta stop botherin' me, so how 'bout at Ascension, we have a tag match? The Light-Heavyweight Champion, me, 50CENTAVOS, and my main meng Toby Yoyo, against, let's say, the one in the white, and the one in the orange, eh?
[Akira:] The... "the one in the orange"? You're on. And after Acsension, you'll never forget the name "Akira Blaze"!
[50CENTAVOS:] Whatever you say, chica. A'ight, den. We'll see you freaks at Ascension!
Many Men hits the PA again as FIDDY and Toby Yoyo exit the arena, the camera showing the expressions of Princess Aika and The Charcoal Lady, and what could only be angry eyes under the mask of Akira Blaze to match her scowl.
-- Back to the Studio --
[Miles:] And you saw it there, ladies and gentlemen! And the match has already been signed for Ascension! The current and reigning NDP Light-Heavyweight Champion, 50CENTAVOS, will be teaming up with Toby Yoyo to take on the newly-forged team of Akira Blaze and Princess Aika! But for a preview, Akira Blaze and Princess Aika will be teaming up for the first time on the next Maelstrom, and we’ll get to see just how well this partnership is going to work out.
And speaking of partnerships that are working out, it’s time for our DamageCast match of the night, as ARMADA’s Erica Belleza looks to finish up the clean sweep of the newest group here in NDP; Midnite Rave. The Rave didn’t fare too well on the last Maelstrom, as the debuting Ivan Vigoro disposed of two of their members in very short order, leading to an incredibly fast victory for ARMADA. Let’s see if their female member, a young lady by the name of Pixi Stik, can do any better for the team against the master manipulator, the Desert Lynx, Erica Belleza.

<<Singles Match>>
Pixi Stik
vs.
Erica Belleza
Referee: Corrine Whal
Erica Belleza and the young lady known as Pixi Stik are out in the ring alone, unaccompanied by their stable mates because Corrine Whal can be seen throwing them all out before the match even begins. Belleza decides to take this big lemon and make lemonade, going right on the attack. After backing Pixi into the corner, Belleza started tearing the ridiculously pink-haired raver girl apart, crashing her head and working over the legs of Pixi. Pixi wasn't about to go down without a fight, but was only able to muster about as much offense as her Midnite Rave teammates did against ARMADA's Ivan Vigoro on Maelstrom. Which is to say, not a whole hell of a lot.
By the end, Belleza was clearly toying with Pixi, even busting out the Lynx Torpedo (Springboard Moonsault to a standing opponent) for the first time in a long time, catching Pixi Stik with the springboard moonsault and rolling through to put Pixi in perfect position for the Southern Cross (Cross STF), and Pixi quickly tapped out after all the damage her legs had suffered.
Erica Belleza wins by submission

-- Back to the
[Miles:] Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the DamageCast studios! Joining me now is the man in the driver's seat to receive a one-on-one shot at the NDP Heavyweight Title at Ascension -- Jason Wesley!
The camera pans over to show Jason kicked back, with his feet on the desk, and one of those big, yellow bubble envelopes in his hands. He nods towards the camera, and flashes a courtesy grin.
[Miles:] So, I understand you have a big suprise for us?
[Jason:] That's right, Miles, and the key word is BIG. What I hold in my hands will shake NDP at it's very foundations! Literally! You'll have to climb under this desk and hide, because you'll think it's an earthquake!
[Miles:] Hm... well, you've got our interest piqued, to say the very least. So.... what is it, exactly?
Jason's eyes dart down towards the envelope, and a sly grin curls across his face. He rips the top of the envelope off, and turns it upside down. A jewel case falls out into Miles' hands, and Jason looks at him with an eager look on his face.
[Jason:] Watch that. It'll tell you everything you wanna know.
[Miles:] Uh.. ok, well -- let me just have one of the production assistants have this, and we'll cue it up and take a look.
[Jason:] Wait, wait just a minute...
Jason quickly scrambles out of his chair and towards the door.
[Miles:] You're not going stay while we watch it?
[Jason:] Nope. Already seen it. Made me pee a lil' bit when I saw it, too. And if it did that to me, I figure you're gonna lose control of all your bodily functions. I'm not stayin', 'cause I don't wanna have to help clean it up.
Jason disappears through the door, and the camera pans back to Miles, standing dumbfounded, holding the jewel case.
[Miles:] Um... Do we... Do we really wanna show this?
[Production assistant:] Shut up and fork it over, Sally!
Miles hurriedly hands over the jewel case, and stands there for a moment before the video starts up.
The video is made up of various clips of a rather large man smashing and throwing and driving opponent after opponent, all set in beat to some rather intense music, and the following overlays the video at a steady interval;
