The Trials of Tribulation
Part I: Akira Blaze
Fade in to the completed DamageCast studio, much the same as before, but with blue and white lights coming from behind and above the podium, and a longer animation of the DamageCast opening and a 3-D NDP logo plays on the screen. Visper Karr steps on-screen, wearing a t-shirt that reads "It's totally July!"
[Visper:] Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to this inagural DamageCast, as we begin delving into our Tribulation SuperCard Event by detailing the matches and the personalities that will clash inside the ring. Our first is the former NDP Light-Heavyweight Champion, Akira Blaze, who will be challenging current Light-Heavyweight Champion 50CENTAVOS for the Championship. We're going to hear from Akira in a bit, but before that, we're going to take you back to March 20th, 2005, SuperKickFest04, where Akira Blaze challenged Kristin Blade for the NDP Light-Heavyweight Championship.

Light-Heavyweight Championship Singles Match>>
Kristin extends her hand to Akira Blaze, and Akira shakes it to the delight of the crowd. Kristin and Akira both back away into their corners. Kristin and Akira head toward mid-ring, and Kristin starts trying to keep Akira away with kicks to the midsection. Akira backs away, the two circle each other in the ring, tie-up and Kristin with a fireman's carry. Akira's up, and back down from a drop toe hold. Akira's back up, neckbreaker from Kristin. Akira's back to her feet, another neckbreaker from Kristin takes her down. Akira up again, and a shoulder neckbreaker takes Akira to the mat this time. Kristin covers; on-- not even one.
Kristin with an Irish whip, catches Akira with a powerslam; one, t-- closer, but not nearly close enough.
Akira's back to her feet, complete shot from Kristin! Kristin attempts a fujiwara armbar but Akira simply powers out, throwing Kristin off. Kristin charges in, northern lights release suplex from Akira. Kristin gets to her feet quickly, nails Akira with a kick to the midsection, pulls Akira into a standing headscissors and pulls her up for a piledriver-- Akira tosses Kristin over with a back body drop! Kristin's back to her feet again, Akira with a standing switch, goes for a back drop but Kristin kicks her legs in midair throwing Akira's momentum off and letting Kristin get her feet back to the floor, Kristin hops onto Akira's shoulders as Akira tries for the backdrop again, Divinerana from Kristin Blade snapped off like it was nothin'! Kristin pulls Akira up, front facelock, vertical suplex from the Light-Heavyweight Champion!
[Jr.:] Kristin Blade is BAH GAWD DOMINATING Akira Blaze! This is insane!
[Visper:] Kristin Blade is certainly fired up for this one, as well she should be! This is the biggest title defense she's had since becoming the NDP Light-Heavyweight Champion, and she knows that she's got to do her best to keep her title!
Kristin with an Irish whip to the ropes, takes off the ropes herself but Akira holds on and Kristin barrels back at her, Axe Bomber attempt, Akira ducks and hits the o-soto-gari. Kristin's back up and Akira begins laying in with some chops to the chest. Kristin shoves her off and tries for a DDT but Akira just tosses her over with a modified shoulder throw. Kristin starts getting up to her feet and Akira runs her down with a standing lariat! Akira grabs Kristin's leg and applies a half crab, sitting down pretty far up Kristin's back and adding a large amount of torque to the submission move.
[Jr.:] Akira Blaze has taken control of the match, and it looks like she's trying to break Kristin Blade in half!!
Kristin flails in the half crab, trying desperately to reach the ropes, but Akira has too much leverage and Kristin is unable to even drag herself anywhere. She starts trying to lean to her side, trying to get Akira off her balance-- and it works! Kristin with some kinda... really messed-up pin thing; one, t-- not even two!
Kristin goes for a back drop, Akira rolls off and gives Kristin an inverted scoop slam, smashing Kristin face-down into the mat. Akira pulls Kristin back to her feet and begins nailing those hard chops to the neck of Kristin Blade, knocking her into the ropes after about five of 'em. Akira takes to the ropes, Ole~! kick from Akira knocks Kristin outside the ring over the ropes!! Akira takes to the ropes again, and as Kristin starts getting up, Akira jumps up to the top rope and springs off with a spaceman plancha and connects! Akira stumbles to her feet, certainly not the one who took the brunt of that aerial attack. Akira backs off, walking to the ring stairs before turning back around to Kristin, still rising to her feet. Akira charges Kristin, mowing her down yet again with a huge lariat. Akira rolls Kristin back into the ring, and Akira hops to the apron, springboard tope over the top rope connects to the downed Light-Heavyweight Champion. Akira pulls Kristin to her feet and pulls Kristin to her feet, front facelock, and Akira pulls Kristin up into the vertical suplex position, holding her there.
[Jr.:] Look at the POWER of Akira Blaze!! She's just holding Kristin Blade up in that suplex, causing all the blood to flow to her head! This could end the match right here!
Akira has Kristin suspended in that position for 30 seconds easy before dropping her straight on her head! Brainbustah~~! Akira pulls Kristin to her feet, backs her into the ropes, Irish whip from Akira, Akira off the ropes as well, jumping knee pat from Akira connects. Akira sits Kristin up and grabs her arms, looking for the R.Y.U Special, but before Akira can lock it in, Kristin gets to her feet and rolls through. Akira instead begins laying into Kristin's neck with those kesi-giri chops again, spins around for the rolling chop, rolling chop is ducked by Kristin, Akira turns around, Enhancekick connects!! Akira is back to her feet, complete shot brings Akira back down to the mat. Kristin takes to the corner quickly, dives off and the double stomp connects! Kristin covers; one, two, thr-- kickout!!
[Visper:] And just like that!, Kristin Blade is back in the drivers seat of this match! That Enhancekick hits out of nowhere, and Kristin has gotten so good at hitting it from just about anywhere in the ring.
Kristin beings laying into Akira with clubbing blows to the back of Akira Blaze. Irish whip from Kristin, reversed, front overhead suplex from Akira. Akira keeps things going and whips Kristin to the ropes, Kristin with a back bodyscissors, Akira lifts her up, Kristin spins around and connects with a big DDT!
[Visper:] Kristin utilizing that back bodyscissors that's become very popular over the past couple of years for the light-heavyweight and cruiserweight-style wrestlers all over the world, and while there are quite a few moves that can be hit from that position, I don't believe that any of them are as devistating as that DDT.
Kristin shoves Akira into the corner, lays in with a few kicks to Akira's midsection before setting Akira up on the top rope. Kristin climbs up the ropes, setting Akira up in an uranage-type grab, forcing Akira to stand on the top rope.
[Visper:] We've only seen Kristin Blade go for this move one other time, at the FATALER Five-Way Ladder Match at ReDeeMeR!
[Jr.:] BAH GAWD DIVINE RITE!! KRISTIN BLADE IS GONNA END IT HERE!!
Akira has other plans, however, and starts punching Kristin in the side. Kristin tries to keep the body clutch applied but Akira slips out and knocks Kristin off the top rope with a huge headbutt, and Akira almost falls off the top herself, but she'd have had a lot longer to fall and a much less inviting concrete floor awaiting her, but she quickly manages to grab on to the top rope and maintains her balance. Akira waits for the opportunity to present itself as Kristin Blade starts getting up, Akira flies off, Flying Swing DDT connects, and Kristin Blade got planted like a tree on Arbor Day!! Akira covers; ONE! TWO!! THRE-- KICKOUT!!!
Akira pulls Kristin to her feet, front facelock, jumping DDT from Ak-- Kristin blocks the jumping DDT buy tossing Akira's legs back behind her, Akira lands back on her feet, Kristin grabs Akira's other arm and threads it between Akira's legs, Kristin clutches it on the other side-- Wristclutch Corkscrew Slam!! Kristin goes right into the cover; ONE! TWO!! THRE-- KICKOUT!!!!!!
Kristin with the kip-up, calls for the end!! Kristin pulls Akira up to her feet, back waistlock, Divine Inter-- AKIRA BLAZE ROLLED BACKWARD OUT OF THE DIVINE INTERVENTION!! DEADLY HEAT!! DEAAAAADLYYYYY HEEEAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Akira covers; ONE! TWO!! THREE!!!

A dark training gym is the scene, with Akira Blaze in the center of a ring, sparring with OG-Joshi Superstar Azumi Oonishi. Miles Bell appears, watching for a moment before he's noticed, and Akira exits the ring to approach him.
[Miles:] Akira Blaze on Tribulation you will face 50CENTAVOS for the NDP Light-Heavyweight Championship. How are you preparing for this match?
Akira looks behind her at the ring.
[Akira:] I come here and train like always. Sometimes I get Oonishi here to help out when she can. It helps me teach her at the same time. The training has been working out well since I feel good about this match. I am mentally and physically prepared for Tribulation.
[Miles:] Will 50CENTAVOS's in ring...tactics have a factor in this match?
[Akira:] I have faced people like him before. There is nothing wrong with wanting to win a match so desperately that you will resort to anything. But I won't let it affect me. I have to win this title back. It's the one thing that stays in my mind all the time, even with my busy schedule.
[Miles:] Why is that title so important?
[Akira:] Well the fact that a person like him has it is just wrong. There is nothing good about his title reign. A championship is supposed to be about honor, you know. All he uses it for is to lord it over everybody like a thug with a giant platinum chain. I'm going to be the person that comes up and rips that chain off his neck. 50CENTAVOS will lose his little status symbol, and things will be good again. When I win at Tribulation, I'm going to give the NDP Light-Heavyweight Championship it's good name back.
[Miles:] And what will happen after that?
[Akira:] I'll just keep going from where I left off and dominate the Light-Heavyweight Division. I've been through a lot to be where I am in NDP and in my career. When I'm on top it's to stay there. First it will be 50 and then the rest can try and stop me.
