This big essay that I have to write. It's a very big part for colleges to determine if they are going to accept you into their school or not.

Well, you aren't too clear about WHAT it really is though.
Like, what is a personal statement? You say it's to get into college, but really, it doesn't SOUND like something we can help with if it's just supposed to be about you and your goals in college.
Or, you could go the moto-route:
Get a crappy service industry job and join the Guard/Reserve.
Or, you could go the Joe-route:
Get a crappy service industry job and go to community college.

Well, we aren't getting a whole lot of information about it either...
From the SOUND of it, it's a statement of what your goals are - if so, I don't see what we can do to help...
